On 13 August, the Syracuse VA will be sending two rep's to assist veterans get signed up for services and to answer questions about services with the VA.  They will be at the American Legion booth at the Chenango County Fair in Norwich, from 1pm - 7pm.  There is never a cost to speak to these experts, and if your not able to see them that Friday, we have several Service Officers at our booth to answer questions, or to help you get signed up.

This Saturday we will having our monthly chicken BBQ and bake sale at Post 1478. $5.00 halves $7.50 diners. Bake goods?? Whatever the price is marked. If I do not see you please have a safe and fun packed week end. Invites everyone to stop by.

50 Ways to Save Your Life

 


 Just to remind all that on August 10th the Chenango County Fair kick off parade starts. All Motorcyclist are invited. We will line up by the Norwich High School same place as last year. Line up time between 6 and 6:30 for the start time at 7 sharp. Prizes will be given to the first fifty who line up. Wear your colors and fly a American Flag if you can. Groups should bring a little write up of your club to be read as we pass the reviewing stand. American Legion Riders will lead off the parade. Last year we had over 60 bikes lets try for a hundred or more. This a rain or shine event. The Chenango County American Legion maintains a booth inside the fair grounds be sure to stop by. We will be giving out information to Veterans and applications to join. Plus selling ice cold water at a fair price. The Parade will lead us down South Main street and into the fair grounds. We will circle the track and go by the reviewing stands. No admission charge for the the parade or the fair. Hope to see you all.
