On October 10th, in front of the Sidney Federal Credit Union in Bainbridge, the American Legion, Post 806 at Bainbridge will have their famous Chicken BBQ, available by itself or with a full meal. All profits for this event go towards the Boy and Girl Scouts in our area, Boy's State, the Memorial Day parade, and other struggling activities for the youth in our community. We will start selling meals around 10:30am til the Chickens are gone. Buy a chicken, support the kids. New Memorial a lasting tribute to deceased Veterans. Veterans Day Memorial dedication of "Fallen Heroes" monuments for nineteen deceased local veterans of World War I, World War II, and the Korean War.
